A depression is recognized primarily by extremely deflated moods and helplessness, making it known for being a serious issue to address. Depression thus leaves an impression to society of being too serious, often causing many to turn a blind eye to the humour that arises from these experiences. Mike and I both agreed that our exhibition on depression would not be complete, without a light- hearted component to it. It is common for humour to still be used and engaged in, when one is experiencing depression.
